The British Hands Off Venezuela campaign, held its national conference 2011 on May 21st in London. These are the resolutions which were discussed and passed unanimously and also the list of the elected steering committee.
The Hands Off Venezuela Britain national conference 2011 was a success, with some fifty delegates packed into the room at London’s ULU to hear speakers from Britain and Venezuela.
On 21st May the 2011 National Conference of Hands Off Venezuela in Britain will be taking place in London. Free to members, or join on the day, and hear speakers coming from Venezuela as well as debate and wider discussion in solidarity with the Bolivarian Revolution.
On Sunday, November 7, the Minneapolis/St. Paul chapter of Hands Off Venezuela participated in an event at the Walker Community Church in Minneapolis focusing on the attempted coup in Ecuador.
On Saturday September 18, some 40 people attended the London branch of Hands Off Venezuela’s vibrant rally in solidarity with the Bolivarian Revolution. An international day of solidarity had been called by the Venezuelan branch of HOV and the Bolivarian People’s Congress in light of the upcoming National Assembly elections.
Around the world Hands Off Venezuela activists expressed their solidarity with the revolution in Venezuela. In 18 countries hundreds of workers and youth gathered in meetings and other activities to discuss the upcoming elections and spread information about the revolution. A meeting of teachers, students and youth in Mexico voted a resolution in solidarity with the Venezuelan revolution and in support of Bolivarian candidates on September 26.
