In the early hours of Sunday June 28, a group of soldiers took the
democratically elected president of Honduras, Mel Zelaya at gun point
and transported him by plane to Costa Rica. Zelaya's government had carried out a whole
series of progressive reforms in the fields of education, health care, etc. The masses have come out on the streets and called for a
general strike on Monday 29 to reject this coup. We give them out full
support. Come to the emergency picket of the embassy of Honduras in London on Tuesday, June 30 at 5pm.
