
Last week, Venezuelan officials arrested seven suspects in the deadly October 13th attack on an indigenous Yukpa community. However, the investigation was tainted with the arbitrary detention one of the victims, Yukpa Chief Sabino Romero, prompting indigenous rights activists to accuse the government of not fulfilling indigenous rights laws.
 Latin America today is
the centre for a political change in the world and also a testament
to the failure of the neoliberal ideology. The gains of the
Bolivarian Revolution have answered many of the immediate needs of
the people, though not completely, and this success can become an
inspiration to consolidate the movement against capitalism and
imperialism, and build the national sovereignty in all over Latin
America and the world.
