- Memorandum of Understanding for the study of feasibility of the construction of two joint ventures for the installation and establishment of concrete production plants in both countries: the objective of joint ventures will be the construction, operation, maintenance, modernization and exploitation of the new concrete plants in order to guarantee the supply of this material to the social programs of Cuba, Venezuela and ALBA member countries.
- Memorandum of Understanding for the study of feasibility of the construction of two joint ventures for the installation and establishment of two raw mortar plants in both countries. The objective is to guarantee the production of bricklaying mortar used in various construction aspects, that will contribute to the improvement of the housing matrix in both countries. The production will be dedicated mainly to building houses, guaranteeing the supply to the social programs of Cuba, Venezuela, and ALBA member countries.
- Memorandum of Understanding to investigate the development of the petrochemical industry.
- Memorandum of Understanding for the design and construction of regasification facilities for Natural Liquefied Gas.
- Memorandum of Understanding to evaluate the construction of a heavy crude upgrader in Cuba.
- Letter of intention to create a joint venture for the development of the fishing industry in Venezuela. The joint venture will use shipyards in Venezuela to construct and maintain small and medium sized vessels to be used by traditional fishermen and by fishing cooperatives.
- Letter of intention to create a joint venture for the development of the fishing fleet in Venezuelan national and international waters. The fleet will be dedicated to increasing fish production, developing the industry, commercialization and any other relevant services, to supply with fish the population of Cuba and other ALBA member countries, to guarantee the alimentary security of their peoples.
- Agreement of Technological Cooperation between PDVSA and CUPET. The objective is to establish a program of technological cooperation through mechanisms that include technical support and other specialized services as well as the training of human resources and the carrying out of joint research and development projects.
- Contract and statutes for a joint venture dedicated to the exploitation and development of nickel. The joint venture will exploit, develop, explore and process nickel minerals extracted from franchised areas. It will also be responsible for the commercialization of the resulting ferronickel and waste products inside and outside the national territory.
- Contract and Statutes for the creation of a joint venture dedicated to construct and exploit a hotel in Cayo Paredon Grande, Cuba. This joint venture will build and exploit a touristic resort in Cayo Paredon Grande.
-Contract for the exploration and exploitation of hydrocarbon resources in deep waters of the Economic Exclusive Zone located to the southwest of the Gulf of Mexico, in the western area of Pinar del Rio province, with an approximate area of 8,130 Km2.
- Contract for the exploration and exploitation of hydrocarbon resources in superficial waters of the Republic of Cuba, in the northeastern area of Pinar del Rio province, with an approximate area of 2,900 km2.
-Contract for the exploration and exploitation of inland hydrocarbon resources, in the northwestern area of Pinar del Rio province, with an approximate area of 2,400 Km2.
-Presidential Decree authorizing a state owned joint venture with the objective of installing, operating and maintaining an international telecommunications system
between the Republic of Venezuela and the Republic of Cuba, signed by President Hugo Chavez. This Decree contributes to foster Latin American integration and promotes technological sovereignty in the telecommunications area between both nations and other Latin American Countries, in conformity with the agreement subscribed on 14th January 2007.
